Sensory Deprivation Tank in Lakeland
(Text 863-272-0250)

What is Floatation Therapy?

Interested in float tank therapy but not sure what to expect? Floatation therapy is a form of sensory depravation that can be a wonderful meditative form of stress relief. The floater (you) gets a quick rinse in the shower before climbing into the float tank.

Inside, the tank is filled with 10 – 12 inches of water packed with over 1,000lbs of epsom salt. (Stranger Things anyone?) All that salt makes for super dense water that allows you to float effortlessly, suspended on top of the water. That water is heated to outside body temperature, about 94 degrees, so that you can’t even tell it’s there.

Lastly, and optionally, shut the float tank door to block out sound and light for the ultimate experience. Feel free to leave it open if that makes you more comfortable.

At the end of the session, the lights will come on in the tank, gently alerting you that the session is over. After carefully exiting the tank, you’ll be able to take another shower to rinse off all the salty water and enjoy the rest of your day feeling relaxed and rejuvenated!

Benefits of Floatation Therapy

The isolation tank (float tank) has a range of proven benefits and is a powerful tool for relaxation, better sleep,
pain relief, and overall total body wellness. Float to manage the mental and physical stressors of life and let our
sensory deprivation tank give your mind and body a chance to unwind.

As your body floats effortlessly with little to distract you, your muscles will begin to truly relax, and your brain wave frequencies are
